Renee Schreiner,
Business & Human Resources Manager
Renee joined Athens Veterinary Service in February of 2004. She started out working at the front office with administrative duties. Renee enjoyed very much getting to know our wonderful clientele from our dairy producers, equine, to small animals and not to mention the amazing animals! Working as an office manager assistant for many years gave her the ability to move into management roles as an Office Manager to taking over the Business Management/HR role following Jeannie's retirement after working 35 years! Renee is actively involved in some of the Athens community services such as a member of the financial board with her church and has been a member of the Athens Sno-Pak for several years. She has been involved with North Central Technical College's Vet Tech Program by being part of their advisory committee. When not working, Renee likes to go snowmobiling, camping, fishing, and traveling with her family.

Miranda Steliga,
Office Manager & Human Resources
Born and raised in Brantwood, Miranda spent 15 years in banking before joining the clinic as Office Manager in May of 2024. Making the move to a veterinary clinic was a big change, but Miranda knew it was the right one for her. She grew up with animals and has loved them since she was a little kid, with the exception of snakes--those terrify her!
Miranda lives in Prentice with her husband, Kyle, and three rescue dogs--Zella, Lucy, and Nico--who basically run the household. She also has chickens, who bring plenty of personality and just enough eggs to justify their behavior. In her free time, Miranda enjoys working in her yard, cross-country skiing, antiquing, UTV-ing, and spending time with family and friends.
Miranda truly enjoys working with our clients and their pets, building relationships, and helping make every visit to the clinic a welcoming and positive experience.
