About Us

Meet the team at Phillips Veterinary Clinic that will work to provide the best care for your animals!

Dr. Roger Fleming, DVM

Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Roger Fleming enjoyed living on Sanibel Island, Florida where he worked at a wildlife center, C.R.O.W., as well as the Coral Veterinary Clinic in Fort Myers, Florida. In the Fall of 2011, he had an exciting opportunity to return to C.R.O.W. for 2 months to work as their interim veterinarian.  Dr. Fleming attended veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin- Madison where he met Dr. Buchli.  Following graduation in 2001, they worked at small animal practices in Bennington, VT and Fort Myers, FL.  In 2006, they decided to move back to Wisconsin to be closer to family and friends.

Dr. Fleming's special interests include internal medicine cases, feline and avian medicine, surgery, and dental work.  On his time off, Dr. Fleming enjoys backcountry camping, kayaking, biking, archery, hunting, and fishing.

Dr. Pamela Buchli, PhD, DVM

Dr. Pamela Buchli attended Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire where she received her Doctorate in Pharmacology and Toxicology in 1997.  During her graduate studies, her research was focused on a protein that helps protect our immune system, Interluekin-2.  She went on to study veterinary medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she met Dr. Fleming.  During this time, she worked in the oncology and internal medicine departments.

Dr. Buchli enjoys working with all animals but has special interests in internal medicine, toxicology, preventative medicine, animal behavior, small mammals, and reptile medicine.  Outside of the clinic she enjoys kayaking, snow shoeing, hiking, and camping.  Although she used to live with 22 reptiles, 2 dogs and a cat, she and Dr. Fleming currently have two Shetland Sheepdogs and a Siamese cat.

Melissa is an office manager and veterinary technician at Phillips Veterinary Clinic. She has been working at the clinic for over 13 years and enjoys seeing all of the wonderful dogs and cats that come into the clinic.  She is skilled in animal dentistry, cytology and anesthesia.

Her interests include spending time with her wonderful husband and children, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. In her spare time, Melissa runs her own taxidermy business, Trophy Saver.

Born and raised in Fifield, Nikki became a certified veterinary technician in 2012 and joined our clinic the same year.

Outside of the clinic she has fun with her daughter, fiancee and all of their animals! They care for chickens, geese, dogs and horses to name a few. She aspires to add goats to that list in the future.

Shelby moved back to Wisconsin in 2014 and we were lucky to have her join our team!

Shelby has two wonderful dogs at home. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and you can always count on her for a smile.
