Surgery
Our newly
remodeled surgery room is fully equipped with
state-of-the-art equipment and professional staff to
safely accommodate the needs of your pet.
Prior to
anesthesia, we recommend pre-surgical bloodwork to better
help us work with your pet.
Because animals cannot always tell us if they are
feeling sick, bloodwork aids in this process.
Even in young, healthy-appearing animals, there can
be surprises. For example, congenital problems such
as liver shunts and kidney dysplasia are not uncommon in
certain breeds of dogs and cats.
Overall, testing can reduce the risk involved with
anesthesia and is recommended for all surgeries -- young
or old!
